From The East: From Seattle, King County or Seattle -Tacoma International Airport - THREE options depending on time of day and traffic -
DRIVING AROUND (NO FERRY) #1 Drive South on I-5 to Tacoma - 19 miles (from airport) Exit 132 - merging onto Highway 16 towards Bremerton - 27 miles Highway 16 becomes Highway 3 - 25 miles Turn left onto Highway 104 crossing the Hood Canal Bridge - 16 miles Merge onto Highway 101 towards Port Angeles-Sequim - 20 miles TAKING A FERRY FROM DOWNTOWN SEATTLE #2 Drive North to Downtown Seattle and take the Bainbridge Island-Winslow Ferry - I-5 Northbound take exit 164B, I-5 Southbound exit 164. This is the 4th Ave. and Safeco field exit. The off ramp goes to 4th Ave. Take a right onto 4th, then go one block to Royal Brougham. Turn right and head for 4-5 blocks (driving between Safeco field and the new Seahawk stadium) to Alaskan Way on the waterfront. Take another right on to Alaskan Way. WSF is about 1.2 miles north. Look for overhead signage, stay in the left hand lane so you can turn left into Ferry Terminal dock. Take Bainbridge Island-Winslow Ferry. 30 minute ride. I-5 Southbound it is exit 164. It says 4th Ave and Airport Way. This also takes you to the 4th Ave ramp and follow directions above, as for northbound.
Disembark the ferry - Bainbridge Island Traveling straight off the ferry you are now on Highway 305 - 13 miles Take right onto Highway 3 towards Hood Canal Bridge - 7 miles Turn left onto Highway 104 crossing the Hood Canal Bridge - 16 miles Merge onto Highway 101 towards Port Angeles-Sequim - 20 miles
TAKING A FERRY FROM EDMONDS #3 Drive North on I-5 to Edmonds and take the Kingston Ferry Drive North on I-5 to State Route (SR) 104, taking Exit 177 - 17 miles (from airport) Continue West on SR 104 for 4 miles and follow the signs to the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry Terminal. Vehicles must enter the toll booths at SR 104 & Dayton Ave. 30 minute ride.
Disembark the ferry - Kingston Traveling straight off the ferry you are now on Highway 104 - 4 miles Follow signs to turn right to Hood Canal Bridge - through Port Gamble, Port Angeles - 17 miles Merge onto Highway 101 towards Port Angeles-Sequim - 20 miles
From Vancouver, Canada - Bellingham or other points North - TWO options TAKING A FERRY FROM EDMONDS #1 Drive south on I-5 to State Route (SR) 104, taking Exit 177 to Edmonds-Kingston Ferry Follow directions above

#2 Drive South on I-5 to Burlington, taking the exit for Highway 20 - follow signs west to Keystone-Port Townsend Ferry - 12 miles Take left to continue on Highway 20 - 17 miles Take right to continue on Highway 20 - 10 miles On right is Keystone Ferry line. 20 minute ride. Disembark the ferry in Port Townsend Traveling straight off the ferry turn left onto Water Street (also Highway 20) - 5 miles Turn right to continue on Highway 20 towards Port Angeles, Sequim - 8 miles Turn right onto Highway 101 towards Port ANgeles, Sequim - 18 miles From all points East arriving in Sequim: 1. Highway 101 to Sequim Ave. exit. 2. Turn right. 3. Go 6 miles staying on main road (it changes names from Sequim Ave. to Sequim-Dungeness Way to East Anderson). 4. Do NOT turn down to 3 Crabs Restaurant - stay on main road, past Old Dungeness Schoolhouse, over the Dungeness River 5. Turn right at Marine Drive. 6. 1.5 miles to blue cottages on left, sign has lighthouse next to it. From The West: - Highway 101 through Port Angeles.
- 10 miles east of Port Angeles, on Highway 101, look for blue lodging sign that says Juan de Fuca Cottages.
- Turn left and go 6 miles to blue cottages on right.
