Today’s weather- 5/10/2008 - Ah, Spring is in the air!! The flowers are
blooming. High around 64. It is a wonderful spring.
The bay is calm today and the sun! Blue, blue sky. Low tides the next
few days make for great clamming.
A recent snowfall on the Olympics makes the
mountains so clear and crisp. Great days for kayaking, bicycling, visiting
the game farm, fishing at the kids pond, walking the spit or just sitting in
the gazebo looking out over the Strait soaking up the sun.
Saw a seal - cruising the Bay for fish and playing in the sunshine.
Our eagle pair have been out soaring the bluffs and a
second, younger pair have been in the area as well.
Baby Llama born next door is sooo cute!

Reservation Policies
By accepting a reservation, you agree to a $50.00 cancellation or change fee if you notify The Cottages 14 days prior to your arrival. If you cancel or change your reservation within 14 days of your arrival you will be responsible for your entire stay and your credit card will be charged unless we are able to re-rent your unit. Lavender Festival, 30 day cancellation notice Reservations are guaranteed with a verifiable credit card.

Smoking
Juan de Fuca Cottages is a non-smoking establishment in the rooms and inside common areas. Outside is allowed with consideration for other guests and the direction of the wind! A $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card if you choose to smoke inside.
Pet Policy
Juan de Fuca Cottages allows dogs by permission, in pet friendly cottages only. When permission is granted, the pet owner agrees to the following:
1.) Never leave pet(s) alone in room, vehicle or anywhere on property.
2.) Do not allow pet(s) onto any of the furniture or furnishings, including
beds—not even with pet blankets in between. Keep pet(s) from jumping
up on to walls, doors, windows, etc. No pets in bathtubs or showers.
3.) Always clean-up poop.
If any one of the policies is not adhered to, a $250.00 cleaning and/or maintenance fee will be charged to your credit card.
