Tom and Missy purchased the Juan de Fuca Cottages in May 2006.
Their son, Michael joined in the everyday operations in July 2008.
Pacific Northwest Natives , the Rief’s moved to Sequim in 2002 from the Snohomish area.
Family is very important to both of them with four grown children and lots of extended family – get-togethers are frequent, full of laughter and good food - and loud!
Tom, Michael and Missy were raised on the waters of Puget Sound and consider it such a blessing to be working in one of the most beautiful areas of the world! When not at the cottages Missy finds time for quilting and road biking while Tom collects baseball cards and is a runner. Michael is a four season Special Olympian and loves dancing and history. They all enjoy vacationing in Mazatlan, Mexico or where ever family happen to be!
